Randstad proud to partner with Employability Project

Randstad UK, one of the world’s largest international recruitment companies and member of the European Alliance on Skills for Employability, attended the Edinburgh Community Technology Academy (ECTA) graduation last week at City Chambers, Edinburgh.

It was the culmination of a successful CSR project partnering with Microsoft and learndirect Scotland,  working with unemployed people to gain ICT literacy and professional training, thereby improving their prospects of gaining sustainable employment.

Randstad will help the graduates look for long term work using our unique
approach of “job fit, boss fit, company fit”, ensuring both candidate and client find the right match.   Our expertise in the SME permanent and flexible market for office support and commercial roles, makes us excellently placed to prepare the graduates for employment.

Fred van der Tang, Managing Director, Randstad UK said: “We are proud to be a leading partner of the European Alliance on Skills and Employability and involved in this important initiative which will improve the IT skills of 100,000 Scots by 2010.

The day was very successful and we wish all the best for the graduate’s future. We know our consultants will work hard to help find them suitable roles, utilising the skills they have acquired.”
